We are thrilled to announce that FC Frederick has partnered with Pleasants Construction to bring our vision of the Bartholows Road Sports Complex to life! This
collaboration marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide a state-of-the-art facility for youth soccer development in Central and Western Maryland.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a love for soccer since 1989, FC Frederick recognizes the importance of community partnerships.
With Pleasants Construction celebrating its 60th anniversary of excellence in site development, we are excited to align our efforts to create a lasting legacy for
our community.
As shown above, Eric Newquist, President of Pleasants Construction, and his team have been developing a working relationship with the club and FC Frederick's
Executive Director, Bo Eskay. You can see them standing on platform one,
soon to be the first few playable fields at Bartholows Road.
As Eric shared, "We have a long legacy of constructing similar fields in the community, so we are proud to be able to partner with FC Frederick and really bring
our expertise to make this a best in class facility for the community and for the club."
"It's a great piece of property. It has a lot of great opportunities to really have the kids and the families come and enjoy being part of the outdoors. Part of
one of our values in our organization is to give back to the community and also just health and welfare. I can't think of a better use of our resources and time
than to invest in opportunities for kids to get out, to learn to be competitive, to work hard, and to give back, so we are very proud of this partnership."
With Pleasants Construction on board, we are more excited than ever about the future of the Bartholows Road Sports Complex. We invite our FC Frederick members to join
us in celebrating this partnership and to stay engaged as we work together to build a premier sports facility that will benefit generations to come.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing more frequent updates as we progress on this transformative project!
